Obituary of Rev. Sebastian V. Annino

Rev. Sebastian V. Annino, age 90 of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, passed away on April 20, 2024 at St. Mary’s Center in Cherry Hill.  He was born on August 7, 1933 in Cromwell, CT to the late Louis and Rose Marie (nee Gugliemino) Annino.

Father Annino was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest on May 27, 1961 and was a Priest in the Diocese of Camden for 63 years.  He served as Priest in Residence at Holy Rosary, Ashland; St. Patrick, Woodbury; St. James, Ventnor; St. Ann, Elmer and St. Mary’s, Rosenhayn and as Parochial Vicar at Holy Rosary, Ashland; St. Edward, Pine Hill; St. Mary, Salem; St. Isidore, Vineland; St. Peter, Merchantville; Immaculate Heart of Mary, Woodlynne and St. Theresa of Avila, Bridgeton.  Throughout the years, Father Annino also served on the faculty on Camden Catholic, St. Joseph’s and Holy Spirit High Schools and as chaplain at the Vineland and Newcomb Hospital, Mater Dei Nursing Home and Elmer Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation on Tuesday, April 30 from 10 to 11 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
