Dearest Jim and Linda, it is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this sympathy note to you. "Uncle" Jim was a most wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was intelligent and so much fun to be around. I recall growing up in South Philly when he and "Aunt" Rose lived on South 21st Street. Aunt Phill and Uncle John lived on the next street (Lambert) and I on the street before them (Woodstock). We all saw each other frequently. "Uncle" Jim always had a funny story or a joke to tell you. I can recall what an honor it was to be asked to be the photographer at their 25th wedding anniversary celebration at their most beautiful home in Cherry Hill. It's something I will never forget. We all have our happy memories and, unfortunately, our sad ones. I remember when "Aunt" Rose passed and "Uncle" Jim looked so lost without her. My mom, Marie, recently died from Covid-19, only a few months from her 100th birthday. We can take solace knowing that they are all together once again: "Uncle" Jim, "Aunt" Rose, "Uncle" Frank, Uncle John, Aunt Phill, "Aunt" Angie, and my mom and dad. They were so often together in life and now will be the same throughout eternity. I know that your dad is telling all of them stories and jokes that they had never before heard! May God Bless You always, "Uncle" Jim and may you enjoy eternal peace with all of your deceased loved ones. You will never, ever be forgotten. My deepest condolences to you, Jim, Linda and your families. Love, Jimmy Planamente

Jim was our neighbor for many years. He watched our daughter grow up and always had a kind word to say. When we walked by he had a smile and a joke to share. When my daughter was very young Jim delivered a giant stuffed beagle to our door. He was loved by everyone on the block and will be missed by all.
