Obituary of James Poulson

James Poulson died January 13,2022. 

Beloved husband to Elaine (Bampfield) and devoted father of James and Tracy(wife of James Juan).  Loving grandfather to Stratton, Connor, Lynn Marie, Michael, and Christopher.  Predeceased by his parents Charles and Anna(Nonemaker)and siblings Charles, Robert, and George. Survived by his sister Betty Anne(Hoffman), and his caring brother in law Joseph Bampfield as well as many nieces and nephews. 

James served in the Army and had a career at Western Union for more than twenty five years. He was very active with St Michael’s Church in Atlantic City as a member of the Knights of Columbus and was also active with the American Legion.  Most importantly he helped to raise his two children with Elaine and was the best hands on Pop-Pop to his grandchildren. He will be forever remembered in his retirement, sitting on his Brigantine Porch and offering his friendly greetings to all.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 43 W. Maple Ave in Merchantville, NJ on Friday 21,2022 at 10am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. Family asks that you do not send flowers or gifts: only your prayers are requested.
