Obituary of James J. Ervin

James J. Ervin, Sr., age 65 of Cinnaminson, passed away on October 9, 2021 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden.

He is the beloved husband of Elizabeth; devoted father of Elizabeth (Joe) Palumbo and James Jr. (Amanda); Loving grandfather of Joseph, Sophia, James III and Enzo; Dear brother of Bill Ervin, Patty Scott, Grace Cohen, Thelma Steward, Jackie Manganaro and Joanann Hazelton. He is also survived by his beloved dogs Oliver and Stella.

Mr. Ervin worked for many years as a groundskeeper in the West Deptford School System up until his retirement. He was a lifelong hunter and fisherman, an avid Philly sports fan, a member of the Colonial Sportsman's Club in Hunterdon County and an honorary member of Engine 1132 in Pennsauken.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Wednesday from 9 to 11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Committal services will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
