Obituary of Catherine Marie Mariano

Catherine M (Kitty) Mariano, 79, of Mt Laurel NJ, passed away on February 12, 2021. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Kitty was born in Camden NJ to Joseph and Eleanor Pigliacelli (née Dell’Aringa). Kitty went to Woodrow Wilson High School. She worked for the Salvation Army in the Nutrition Department for many years and then Whole Foods in Marlton. Kitty enjoyed entertaining and having beautiful dinner parties. She loved cooking, traveling and attending Broadway shows and plays and the shore. Kitty was a very, very dear friend to many. Kitty is survived by her twin brother Samuel J and his wife Carol Pigliacelli of Grovetown GA. Loving aunt to nephews Michael Pigliacelli of Woodstock IL, Daniel A and Christina Pigliacelli of Royersford PA, niece Lisa and Matt Tomasco, Grovetown GA, grand nephews, Daniel M Pigliacelli, Giovanni Tomasco, Sean Pigliacelli, Alex Pigliacelli, grand nieces Marissa Pigliacelli, Olivia Pigliacelli and Chloe Pigliacelli and great-grand nephew Samuel W Pigliacelli and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Louis Mariano, Parents Joseph and Eleanor Pigliacelli and nephew Joseph Pigliacelli. Entombment at Locustwood Memorial Park Mausoleum will be private at the request of the family.
