Obituary of Julia M. Irwin
Julia M. Irwin (nee McCormick) age 93 years of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 18, 2021.
Beloved wife of the late Edward T. Devoted mother of Ed Irwin (Rocio), Cathy Rymsza (Walt), Ginny Boyles (Mark), Terri Luebkemann (Rob) and Chris Russell (Deron). Loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Jim and Jack McCormick and sister in law of Cass McCormick. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement in 1986, Julia worked at Bell Atlantic/Verizon Telephone for over 20 years. She was a longtime parishioner at Mary, Queen of All Saints Parish, church of St. Cecilia and a member of Altar Rosary Society. Julia enjoyed bowling, travelling and doing crossword puzzles.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 6-8 PM and Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 10-11 AM at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30 AM at Mary, Queen of All Saints Parish, 4824 Camden Ave in Pennsauken. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
Due to current Covid restrictions, please pay your respects in a timely manner and exit the building to allow others entry to pay respects. Face masks MUST be worn at all times inside the building.
